The Insole began to fall apart within Three days of light wear. I was only wearing the Sperry Authentic/Original indoors around the house as I wanted to build up a callous on my heel before I wore them out all day. I glued the insole back together as I wanted them for a specific event. Not the end of the world but I will try a different brand of boat shoe next summer (probably this summer based on the insole).

I've worn Topsiders for over 30 years as my nearly exclusive three season footwear. They are better than barefoot. Although I usually have 3 or 4 pairs, they average close to 10 years wear for me. I'm about to replace a pair that I bought in 2003. I have never been able to wear through the soles.
