I consider myself a shoe freak. I have TONS of heels so take this as you will. LOVE the way these shoes look, but make sure you don't have to do much walking in these. You are REALLY up on your toes with this shoe. The height is not the problem as much as the angle of the bottom of the shoe. It's at a sharp angle which makes for some tricky walking. I have many, many stacked heels, but these are by far the most difficult to walk in. It pushes you too far forward and throws your balance off. I can see wearing these to a function that won't require much moving around or if you work in an environment that doesn't require much back and forth. They look AWESOME though!!! As for the size and fit, I would say they are accurate, but the shoe is boxy around the arch which probably only makes the shoe look a little wider than it probably really is. Either that or I have a really skinny foot. Hope this helps! For the price I don't know that I would recommend these to a friend.

They fit true to size... They do take some breaking in like most steve maddens. Wear socks with them around the house to break them in a little since they are a bit stiff in the back.

This is a beautiful shoe. When I saw it online, I had to have it but was disappointed that it was a half size too small when I tried it on. The shoe was strangling my foot. This shoe is not made fit to size.
