Sandals are the most comfortable I have worn. Relatively stylish for leather "fisherman" sandals. Strap is easy to latch. The only negative is that the soles are a bit slick on wet pavement.

This is my Third pair of this particular style and model.They are dressy enough to wear to work and comfortable for long days walking or standing on your feet.You can put them on with one hand or slip them off with no hands.No need for socks except in the winter.Color goes well with most clothes.The leather protects my feet and the padding is removable.I give them an A+++
By the way, The Dillards in MidRivers Mall is where I bought my first pair and Dillards Internet online store just delivered my new pair in record time at the best price anywhere!!

I bought my first pair (I'm looking for my third) to wear on vacation where a lot of walking was expected, but I wanted a shoe that looked nicer than tennis shoes. I wanted to travel light and take only one pair of shoes. These sandals were the perfect choice!

They look great with just about everything. The only time I wear anything else is if it is raining, if my employer specifically forbids sandals of any kind, or if I need black formal shoes.

I can walk or stand for hours in them, and they have never blistered me. They are slippery smooth inside, nothing chafes. Whoever designed the uppers is a shoe design genius!

My only complaint is that the uppers long outlast the soles, and as far as I know, the soles cannot be replaced. Maybe they would be less comfortable if they did it, but I wish Timberland would use a more durable rubber on the sole and make the soles solid so that the bottoms don't end up looking like broken blisters that scoop up and track dirt and litter.

Still, I can't find anything that I like as much, and I've spent a fortune experimenting with other styles and brands. I can't believe how much I loved that velcro strap!

I swear by this shoe I generally have two pair. One for walking about everyday, one pair for work at the office. If they get too worn, I wear them to work in. I have had the soles split before the leather will where out.I even wear them in the winter depending on my Geographic location. Please don't stop this shoe production. I'm on my tenth pair.

Reviewing these for my husband . . . I bought these about 5 years ago, he's worn them for casual/weekend wear, and now he wants another pair -- and he's pretty picky about shoes.
