The bag is larger than the hipster, thus allows more room for carrying an iPad, wallet, keys, sunglasses, etc. I can even fit a few of my kid's things in it. The strap is comfortable and strong. At first I wasn't sure about the color so I drove to my local store which is nearby. It looks way better in person. You can wear any color outfit without having to change purses so often. The store only had one so I'm glad I got it. Save yourself a trip and buy it online, that way you won't risk not finding it at the store. I also bought the matching turn lock wallet. It fits nicely in the bag.
