The cordless wine opener did not have enough power to extract the cork on the first try. It took multiple tries to remove the cork. And it was fully charged. So it's nice looking, but not too effective. We've only used it twice since we bought it, but both times the same scenario occurred. It may simply need more power than a battery can offer to extract a sealed cork.
