        This is one of the greatest forms of eye makeup out there. I use it as a base for whatever eye shadow I'm using. If you buy a shade near your skin color, it won't distort the color of your eye shadow, but it will keep it from creasing or smearing for literally days, if need be. Whenever I sleep over at a friend's house and don't take my makeup off, my eye makeup still looks great the next morning. I bought this as a gift for my cousin and now she is addicted, too.

        Obviously by looking at the many comments below, you need to return Uplighting Touchbase to your selection stock! I am lost without it!!! I cannot believe you have discontinued this product. Every time I go to a store to purchase the ladies tell me they cannot keep it in stock. If it is that big of a seller, why would you discontinue it?? Terrible marketing in my opinion! And obviously others also. I have been a loyal Clinique customer for 30 years, this is happening more and more every time I go in, you guys changing colors on me. I�m almost ready to quit using your product!!! That would be sad!!

        I love the staying power of canvas light, but I wish there were an option without the shimmer. Also, Clinique, will you please redesign the packaging. My lid broke off, and nothing else in my makeup bag is damaged, so I feel like this design needs to be longer lasting. I would buy a non-shimmer color if it were available, because this helps eyeshadow and liner stay put.

        Please bring back Touch Base in Uplighting

        For over 20 years I have used Touch Base in up lighting as my lid color, noting else just up lighting. Please bring back the Canvas color isn't the same.

        I just went to the store to get more of Clinique's Touchbase Uplighting which I have used for probably 30 years...whenever they started making it...only to find out it has been discontinued. All the other colors are now way too light! Now, here I am online trying to hunt for anyone who might have some, but apparently it has disappeared completely. I was sold another product in stick form from Lancome, but it is more difficult to apply and isn't creamy enough to blend. I have been a loyal Clinique customer for all these years, please Clinique, bring this product back!

        I have LOVED Buff Lighting for 20 years!!! How could you discontinue the Touch base?? Even the Lid Smoothie colors aren't as perfect as Buff Lighting!!! I've tried other brands but they don't compare. I'm devastated. My makeup game is dead. I don't know if I'll buy anymore clinique products. I've been loyal to clinique for 30 years, but this is detrimental to our makeup marriage.
        CLINIQUE PLEASE HEAR YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMER PLEAS AND BRING IT BACK.

        sad about color selection

        I agree with writers below -- I bemoan the limited shades now available in touch base and lid smoothies. As I age I look for sheerer and more natural shadows, and the power shadows tend to gather in lid creases -- but not the Touch Base and Lid Smoothies. Please bring back more shades! (Chubby Sticks, though nice, don't apply as easily and are a bit too shiny.)

        No uplighting??

        I have searched the world(well, not quite, but close!) for touch Base Uplighting. I am SAD it is discontinued. I have used Uplighting as my base for 27 years and there is NO replacement. I have tried numerous products over the years but they all crease. Not Uplighting. Not all of us are fair skinned blondes. Please Clinique, hear my plea and bring Uplighting BACK!

        Bring Back Buff Lighting

        I've used this product for close to 20 years, and I'm extremely disappointed that the Buff Lighting shade has been removed. I tried the Canvas Light, but it's way too light. I don't understand why this shade was discontinued. It was sold out often when I tried to purchase in-store. I guess I'll be looking for a different product to replace this.
