        Hands down this primer is a winner. I am not a fan of primers make my skin feel oily and shiney. They also tend to break my face out. I am so happy I came across this primer. It is perfect. It dries almost immediately which is a HUGE plus for me. I have very little time in the mornings and waiting to put on my foundation isn't an option. With this primer I can apply and go straight to my foundation. It works so well to prolong my already long wear double wear light. It keeps my "T" zone oil free all day and evening. I don't have to touch things up at all during the day. As much as I love my double wear light, worn without primer it doesn't last as long as I would like. This primer gives it a boost and I'm totally loving the combination. Highly recommend this primer if you are like me, prone to breakouts and like a more matte to satin look.

        I ordered this primer to go with my double-wear liquid foundation and double-wear stay in place powder make-up. It feels comfortable on the skin but I did not feel like it made much of a difference. I still had to touch-up my make-up at the same time of day and the amount of shine I experienced was the same with the primer or without. I am returning this product.

        I've used this a handful of times, I have oily skin. This product does work. It's not mind blowing like the the double wear and other products I've used from EL with oil control.

        I tried this solely on the reviews on Esteelauder.com. This product does not disappoint. Coupled with the Daywear Matte this products keeps me from being an every hour blotter to once or twice a day. Highly recommend.

            This primer is great and leaves my skin feeling flawless before applying foundation, however I do notice that my skin still gets oily after a few hours but I might also be putting too much pressure on primer alone to fix my oiliness. Overall, it's been my favorite primer thus far!

                I tried this primer due to an oily T zone which made my foundation slide off in a short time. It does a better job than most in keeping shine down longer but I am not sure it's the right one for me. Did nothing to help make foundation not settle into tiny lines.

                I purchased this primer because it's called The Mattifier and because it has good reviews. I have very sensitive skin and Estèe Lauder products have never irritated my skin until I bought this thing... Even though it is called The Mattifier, this product has sparkles (they are not big enough to be glitter), If I'm buying a product to mattify my skin I don't expect it to have a sheen. Maybe I got a defective one? I really don't know but it's too late to return it and I've used it like 3 times...

                    As a primer this helps foundation go on more evenly. But for me, the best part is it works by itself too when you don't want to use foundation. It adds an more even tone and glow to your skin. With summer coming not having to use foundation is a plus. This even looks great on me with my older flawed skin so I can only imagine how great it would be on younger women. This is a must have for your make up bag, IMO. I got a sample and I'm ordering some.

                            I very much enjoy using this primer. I am an actor and I find that, with this primer my make-up not only goes on more smoothly, but also stays in place under the stage lights. The oil control is relatively effective, although I do feel some oil creep up on my forehead after about 5 hours.

                            I would recommend this product to others. I'm buying my sister a tube for her birthday!
