About Juice Beauty

Juice Beauty was founded in 2005 by Karen Behnke, a lifelong environmentalist who cares deeply about organic, sustainable living. She was pregnant with her first child at 40, which made her take a closer look at the ingredients in beauty products. And to her dismay, she found that they contained a large number of chemicals. This inspired her to create a safe, effective, and vegan skin care line.

Juice Beauty works on the motto of ‘farm to beauty’ and is built around the concept of harnessing the power of organic fruit juices. Instead of using fillers, it uses aloe, lemon, apple, and grape extracts as the base for skin care products. The fruit juices are enriched with antioxidants, vitamin C, peptides, algae, vegetable hyaluronic acid, and natural essential oils. The makeup products contain plant-based pigments to provide vibrant, safe, and long-lasting color. All products of Juice Beauty contain all-natural and organic ingredients and are free of sulfates, parabens, artificial dyes, and petroleum derivatives.
