My platinum model started acting up after 3 years of daily use, so I had to dispose of it. I also got rid of my mini as I bought it for travel and it was too heavy and annoying to have no water tank. I like the 475's 70 oz water tank, less frequent filling. I did not have to read the manual to set it up. Easy to use. I like how simple it is to set the energy saver options to turn on and off at certain times. Good tasting coffee. Did not come with carafe and that is okay as I like fresh, hot, and a variety of coffee flavors each day. I suppose it would be nice to brew a carafe when company is over, so a nice option. I like the sandy pearl color, it is bright and cheerful looking. Just have had a few days and so far I just love it.

I've used both K475 & K575 brewers for nearly a year, and I have found that closing the lid too quickly causes the water injection nozzle on top to clog. This is apparent because the pumping will slow down and barely any coffee will be produced. The only solution once the nozzle clogs is to take a toothpick and carefully push/scrape the coffee grounds from the injection nozzle. I have to do this once or twice before the machine will begin pumping normally. I can avoid the clogging by closing the lid verrrrry slowly, but I sometimes forget (like first thing in the morning when I'm still sleepy), and I'm rewarded by a clogged nozzle. My fiancee never remembers, so she runs into constant clogs. She hates the clogged nozzle issue so much that she keeps her old K55 brewer on the other kitchen counter and refuses to touch the newer one. The K55 has been moved numerous times over the past several years and keeps pumping out the coffee. The K575 has lived a life of luxury, sitting in one spot for the entire year. The K475 lives at my son's place. The K55 works great, but both the K475 and K575 clog constantly, requiring the "toothpick" cleaning to operate properly. I won't buy another "2.0" Keurig machine. Go with the K55 and forget about the fancy stuff. It isn't worth the hassle.

      A beautiful coffee machine!!

Comments about Keurig 2.0 K475 Brewing System:

I've had this machine only for 1 week, but I absolutely love the coffee, the color "Sandy Pearl", and the light in the water holder makes the brewer even more lovely. I will say the only problem I had when starting to use the machine is that I kept tying to push the pods in with the movable clip just below the pod area. I had to call Keurig to eventually find out I was doing it wrong, and too just place them in and not force them or move the lower clip at all, this was the only problem I encountered, which could have been avoided with a short explanation about the placing of the pods in the original starting the machine directions. I also found out that I was able to use my VUE pods which was such a wonderful surprise. "No wasted pods". So my advice to any new user is to follow the directions given and make sure you just set the pods in gently and don't force anything or you'll have many frustrating issues.

Comments about Keurig 2.0 K475 Brewing System:

Purchased the K475 to replace the K75 Platinum after many years of good service. Tried the K55, but missed the temperature control, so exchanged it for K475 The new K475 model is disturbingly noisy when pumping. Thinking of returning it

      Wast of money!

Comments about Keurig 2.0 K475 Brewing System:

I was so excited when I first got my white Keurig and the K-cups accessories. It's worked well for a few months, then the screen started blurring and blanking up, now a month later, it's not brewing a full cup of coffee and putting all the coffee grounds in the coffee, my husband has tried to fix since he can usually fix anything, but no luck so far. Will try to descale it, but if that doesn't work, I guess it will be time to depart with it. I'm so disappointed, I thought Keuring made a better product.

      Touch Screen Failed Again

      By

      from Philadelphia, PA

Comments about Keurig 2.0 K475 Brewing System:

2nd K475 we've owned where the touch screen died. We've tried to live with it by unplugging power cord for hours in order to reset. Last straw occurred when mother-in-law tried (and failed) for 40 minutes to make a single to make a simple cup of coffee. Buyer beware!

      HORRIBLE!!!!!

      By

Comments about Keurig 2.0 K475 Brewing System:

I read the reviews and saw some of the complaints. I figured that some of those were just bad brewers. I gave it a shot. Now after 2 months I want to pull my hair and gouge my eyes out. I've wasted more cups than I've brewed. Constantly gets the interrupted brew message. I've cleaned the needle more times than I ever did in 6 years with my old one. If I hadn't paid so much for it, I'd throw it away. Do yourself a favor, please, get another model or even another brand. Trust the reviews on whatever you decide. This thing has taken years off of my life and I just want a cup of coffee.

      Touch screen is poor

Comments about Keurig 2.0 K475 Brewing System:

Although I had high hopes for this unit the touch screen on this model started failing within a couple of months of purchase. I had to unplug and reset it every time it wouldn't respond. The quality of the touchscreen seemed very cheap.
