I have owned and worn Westbound pants for years. I love them for their ease, comfort, and fit. I went up a size last winter, and though I plan/hope to lose that weight, I needed some pants to wear this winter. So I turned to my "old" favorite - something I knew to be comfortable and quality.
When these came in the mail, they were long. Too long to wear with flats. But they fit well everywhere else, so I thought I'd eventually hem them and, in the meantime, I'd wear them with a pair of 1.5" heeled loafers I own. And, that is exactly what I did.
As the day wore on, I kept stepping/tripping on the back bottom hem of these pants! Why? Well the waistband got looser, causing the pants to slide and sit lower on/below my waist. I spent the whole day pulling them up, and it was annoying! What the heck is going on?!? The waistband is elasticized. That's not supposed to happen!?! I have no idea what is going on, or how to "fix" it. Eventually, I'll probably open up the waistband and tighten the elastic (or put new elastic in). Or, maybe I'll just sew darts in the sides of the waistband. And I do need to hem them.
I wouldn't have kept these if I'd known what a pain they where going to be. I am frustrated and disappointed beyond belief. I hope Westbound "gets its act together."
