On an island in Indonesia, fresh-cut patchouli leaves blossom in their shrubs in the shade. After cutting, they begin to dry out. Once lit, this candle releases their perfume in full: dense and dark, charged with earthy, woody, almost camphorated accents. The space is transformed into a grounded sanctuary.

Here are a few tips to optimize its lifespan and to help you enjoy it safely.
- Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Protect delicate materials such as wood or marble with a stand or tray.
- Keep candles away from flammable materials.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
Light the candle
- We recommend lighting your candle with a match to avoid any risk of burning yourself.
- During the first burn, make sure to let the candle burn until a uniform pool of melted wax has formed (about 4 hours depending on the scent). This prevents the wax from tunneling and allows the wick to absorb the wax properly, ensuring an even burn thereafter. Wicks may produce a small amount of smoke when first lit.
While burning
- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time after the first burn.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Do not move a burning or unlit hot candle.
- Keep it away from drafts.
- Leave at least 10 cm (4 inches) between two candles.
After each use
- Snuff out the flame: use a snuffer to avoid splashing hot wax.
- Re-center the wick once the candle is out.
- Before relighting your candle, use a wick trimmer to trim the wick (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to avoid risk of fire.
