We recommend dry cleaning Stella. Faux silk velvet is a delicate fabric, and its tailored seams deserve the same care you'd give fine apparel. A dry cleaner will keep both looking new for years. If you prefer to care for it at home, be gentle: machine wash cold on the delicate cycle, by itself, with a mild detergent, and never use the dryer. Lay flat or hang to dry. Agitation is what stresses velvet, so the gentler the cycle, the longer Stella lasts.
