Musc Couture translates the sophistication of Jacques Fath's glamorous gowns, intricate pleats, and flowing silhouettes into an olfactory expression of haute couture. Inspired by the precision and craftsmanship of couture design, Creative Director Rania Naim challenged perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault to capture the sensation of fabric coming to life under the scissors, from its sensual movement and refined textures to its transformative artistry.
At the center of the composition, a smooth, sensual Musk Accord evokes the feeling of fabric against the skin. A luminous Clean Linen Accord brings brightness and diffusion, while precious Iris Concrete LMR lends an elegant powdery quality. CO2-extracted Vanilla Bean adds enveloping richness, complemented by ambrette seeds, woods, and vetiver for depth and texture.
An unexpected gourmand contrast gives Musc Couture its audacious character. Red Banana Accord, with its sweet, raspberry-like facets, meets juicy cherry and bright bergamot in a liqueur-like opening. As these vibrant notes give way to powdery iris, clean linen, and sensual musk, the fragrance reveals a composition that is both bold and graceful, a modern sensory tribute to the irresistible allure of haute couture.
