Making the lives of hard-working women easier has been at the center of our brand and our designs from the very beginning. Our founder Ming Wang created her eponymous brand over 30 years ago out of necessity: The necessity for clothes that perfectly fit her life and style, and the necessity to provide for her young family that had just moved to the US.

Wanting to always put her best foot forward, Ming immediately noticed a problem; she couldn’t find timeless styles that made her look and feel her best in any of the stores she visited. So she put her skills in knitting and sewing to the test and made her own clothes with durable materials and effortless shapes made to fit a real woman — her — in a comfortable and flattering way.
