For over 70 years, our founder Klaus Obermeyer has been acting on his belief that a company should “step lightly” and strive in every possible way toward sustainability. Whether it’s lowering our corporate carbon footprint, using increasingly recycled materials or crafting gear that stands up to anything we might put it through, we want to continue to do all we can as a company to help protect the future of our winters, trees and mountains. Obermeyer products have been designed and tested in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of Aspen, Colorado since 1947.
